Each year, QP surveys people working in the quality profession about their salaries and other aspects of their employment.When results are published, usually the first thing many want to know is, "How is pay for the profession doing overall?"The best indicator of this is the average salary for U.S. quality professionals. Over the past 15 years, this average has risen year over year in every year but two, as Table 1 (p. 27) shows. In 2012 and 2014, the average salary for U.S. respondents decreased-in each case by less than half a percentage point. This year, the results show an increase of 1.28% over 2018.
