Quality in the Classroom

In the turbulent environment caused by reorganization, downsizing and personnel changes, organizations sometimes find it difficult to decide how to offer quality products and services. While these challenges have been present in many companies since the 1980s, they have recently begun to appear in institutions of higher education. Now it is not uncommon to hear of major restructuring in education, once considered a stable, traditional sector of the economy.
