Compared to last year's salary survey results, the pay might not be so bad, either. Part-time quality professionals earned significantly more in 2006 than they did in 2005. That's according to the results of Quality Progress' 2006 Salary Survey. In 2005, part-time employees in the United States responding to QP's survey reported earning an average of 39,659 dollars. This year, that average salary jumped nearly 37 percent to 54,305 dollars. Part-time employees in Canada reported earning an average of 34,864 dollars (Canadian dollars) in 2005. This year, that amount climbed 43 percent, to 50,000 dollars (Canadian dollars).
