The vast majority of respondents who participated in this year's salary survey are full-time regular employees-in other words, they work 36 or more hours per week for a company or organization.rnAs Table 1 shows, 99.2% of the U.S. respondents and 98.6% of the Canadian respondents work full time. About 3% of these full-time employees also consult on the side. The extra hours spent working as self-employed consultants has led to a significant income bump.
