Quickshot XRF's handheld analyzer, which uses x-ray fluorescence technology (non-isotope based), features software that offers real-time results on a touchscreen personal digital assistant. When the user gets back to the laboratory, those results can be transferred to a desktop computer for long-term storage, analysis and report generation.rnThis system was developed for hazardous substance analysis, and it exceeds the requirements of the Restriction of Hazardous Substances and Consumer Product Safety improvement Act, with detection limits down to 10 ppm. Various software packages also make it a portable solution for precious metal analysis and positive material identification.
