Long hours studying to succeed and maintain high grades in science and math classes was the primary challenge most engineers said they faced while they pursued their degrees, according to a recent ASQ survey.The biggest factor in their success as engineers was the amount of time they spent studying, according to 43% of the respondents. Twenty-seven percent of engineers surveyed said the instruction they received from high school teachers and college professors had the most influence in their success as engineers.
