Although it is difficult to find a universally accepted definition of what it actually means, quality management is still the dream of every organization on the planet—or at least it should be. The challenge is that the word "quality" means different things to different people. For some organizations, quality management means using quality tools such as statistical process control. For others, it's implementing a quality management system (QMS) or fostering an environment based on teamwork and involvement.
