Things we've come to expect in our inter national standards are missing in the version of ISO 9001 currently under development. Based on the committee draft (CD), ISO 9001:2015 is significantly different from ISO 9001:2008. Requirements for a quality manual and for documented procedures are absent, as is the preventive action clause. One sentence in section 7.5.1 tells you what documents are required: "The organization's quality manage-ment system (QMS) shall include documented information required by this international standard and documented information determined by the organization as being necessary for the effectiveness of the QMS."
