摘要

This article describes a case study on reducing the testing time of a parameter of rayon-grade pulp. The critical path method was used to identify the critical activities in the measurement process of S7.14. A2~3 experi- Ment was then carried out by reducing the time of three of the critical activities. The data were analyzed using the Dynamic signal-to-noise ratio and it was found that the time of two activities can be reduced without affecting the vari- Ability of the measurements. The results of the study were successfully implemented in the testing procedure. The Study helped in reducing the testing time by 1 h without adding any extra cost and also gave more insight into the mea- Surement process.
