Discussion of Mr. DeFeo's Guest Editorial in QE Volume 13, Number 3

As was requested by the Editor of ASQ's Quaity Management Journal, Barbara Flynn, the Discus- sants have carefully examined the Guest Editorial and have each identified claims they consider are deserving of ques- tion or disagreement. Although there is some duplication, there are also unique subjects raised by each of them. When Mr. DeFeo responded, he summarized what he took to be the key items developed by each discussant and provided His views on what he expects the future to hold. It will be interesting to see which point of view proves correct, say, by 2025 when many of our readers will still be around to take note.
