Galit Shmueli provides a thought-provoking introduction to the Behavioral Big Data (BBD) landscape in "Analyzing Behavioral Big Data: Methodological, practical, ethical and moral issues." We are grateful for the opportunity to further discuss these issues, and believe that we can offer valuable insights as individuals trained as industrial statisticians, but who now work largely in the realm of big data, data science, and analytics.
