Noise Figure (NF) is how low-noise amplifiers (LNA) are compared, but the numbers can be misleading. The best LNAs have noise figures of perhaps 0.2 dB, and the differences are in the decimal places. It may seem like the differences are small, but they are significant when compared properly.
