The Implications of Current Consciousness Research on Orgonomic Theory

Evidence from contemporary consciousness research, including my own investigations on correlations between emotional expression and the output of a REG, indicates that contact between living beings and between living beings and machines can be effected at a distance and independent of sidereal time. These phenomena cannot be explained by the well-known theories of electromagnetism. At this time we may best understand these phenomena by postulating a function of "resonance" operating in a realm that is deeper and broader than our four-dimensional space-time. If, as Reich maintains, mass-free orgone energy is the fundamental substrate for all functions within the cosmos, it must in some way be the basis for resonance functioning within this deeper realm. Evidence is presented from Reich's research indicating that mass-free orgone is capable of generating enormous amounts of energy functioning at speeds well beyond that of light. These qualities may, indeed, provide the physical basis for the anomalous transfer of information in question.
