Guilin Paper plans to acquire Feitao Paper

The Chinese paper manufacturer Guilin Paper Inc. is planning to take over the Chinese paper company Feitao Paper Product Ltd. A strategic partnership has existed between the two companies since 2003, Guilin Paper selling raw materials and power to Feitao Paper and obtaining recovered paper from Feitao in return. Guilin Paper's aim behind the takeover is to enlarge its production capacity in the packaging paper segment in order to satisfy the growing demand.
