LPC Group planning new tissue mill

The British LPC Group Plc says it is investing £40m (approximately €44m) in a second tissue mill in Hamilton. The new mill will probably raise LPC's total capacity in the UK to somewhere around 135,000 t of tissue, the company said. The precise capacity of the new PM has not been decided yet, however. The foundation stone is to be laid in the second half-year 2010. The investment is to create 100 new jobs.
