UPM to acquire majority stake in Botnia's Fray Bentos pulp mill

The shareholders of Oy Metsa Botnia Ab plan a new ownership structure of the Finnish pulp producer. On 15 July UPM-Kymmene Corporation, M-real Corporation and Metsaliitto Group, which currently hold stakes in Botnia of 47%, 30% and 23%, respectively, announced the conclusion of a corresponding letter of intent.
