Rottneros investing in its Vallvik pulp mill

Rottneros AB is taking further action to modernise its site in Vallvik. On 1 September, the company disclosed plans to invest another SEK60m in its pulp mill and build a new biological water treatment plant. The start up of the new water treatment plant is scheduled for autumn 2011. Rottneros is currently preparing to rebuild the evaporation plant and recovery boiler at the Vallvik mill. The SKR77m modernisation package should take place during annual maintenance work this October.
