German recovered paper market: prices of mixed paper, supermarket board and paper lower in June

Prices of the bulk grades supermarket board and paper as well as mixed paper are determined by the inland market in June. Export prices yielded by €20 but' inland prices ceded only €10. According reports, exports to China are at a low level while orders from Indonesia remain unchanged. The overall weakness of exports from Germany is attributed to better business terms on the inland market even though prices are lower than in May. Export volumes from elsewhere in Europe, e.g. Italy, France, UK and the Benelux countries are said to be higher as inland prices in these countries are lower. That said, demand for recovered paper in China is currently lower on the whole.
