Sappi's PM 2 in Stockstadt resumes production

Sappi's PM 2 at the Stockstadt mill, which was damaged by afire shortly before Christmas 2009, has meanwhile resumed production. Brussels-based Sappi Fine Paper Europe announced that following comprehensive repair work at the PM 2, the company succeeded in restarting the production of coated paper without any loss of quality and that the first shipments to customers were scheduled for early April. Sappi explained that the mill was also testing production of various new paper grades.
