Saica revives plans for UK containerboard plant

Spanish company Saica will soon start to build a new mill for recycled corrugated case material in the UK and commission the facility in February 2012. The project, originally announced in 2008, was shelved last year due to unfavourable market conditions. It has now been revived with immediate effect to be implemented with a delay of two years. Saica's PM11 will be built in the new mill located in Partington near Manchester.
