SCA planning joint venture for activities in Australasia

Sca has a new partner in Australia. The company reported that it is planning to establish a joint venture with Australian company Pacific Equity Partners (PEP) for its business activities in Australasia. The two partners will each hold a 50% share in the division, which is to be decon-solidated and financially recorded as a joint venture. SCA quoted the selling price of the shares at SEK3.2bn (roughly €352m). The cooperation still requires approval from the authorities and is scheduled for completion within the next two to three months.
