Chinese paper manufacturer Guangdong Huatai Paper Co., Ltd. has put the newsprint paper machine at the Xinhui plant in the province of Guangdong into operation. Metso, which relocated the PM, reports that paper manufacturing began at the end of May. The 5.56 m wide paper machine with a working speed of 1800 m/minute has a production capacity of almost 200,000 tpy. It had previously been operated at the Qiqihar Paper plant in the province of Heilongjang. Production was originally scheduled to start at the end of 2010.The contract also covered the installation of a new deinking system.
