ITC and Ramky Group mulling over a new paper mill in India

The Indian conglomerate ITC Ltd. and the Indian waste management company Ramky Group are considering setting up a new joint paper mill for producing recycled paper in Hyderabad. According to information by the Indian business newspaper The Hindu Business Line, published on the website of ITC Paperboards and Specialty Paper Division, the paper mill could be built within the next two years. The initial output would be roughly 100,000 tpy. ITC puts the cost of the investment at INR2 billion, roughly equivalent to €31 million.
