German recovered paper collection volumes weaken again, prices expected to move sideways in July

The very good availability of recovered paper in Germany at the beginning of June has normalised over the course of the month. Collection volumes decreased markedly as a result of the Pentecost school holidays in some German states, respondents said. However, industry observers said the easing could mainly be attributed to the fact that more volumes are once again flowing into exports to the Far East.
