Majority of European pulp and paper producers report positive earnings in 2010

All in all, 2010 proved to be a good business year for Europe's pulp and paper industry. The majority of companies managed to increase their profits or recoup the previous year's losses despite spiralling raw material and energy costs in many cases. A few groups even set new records in terms of revenues, production volumes, deliveries or net profits and that, as many of them stressed, just one year after the global economic crisis.
