Myllykoski Paper to cut 89 jobs at Kouvola mill

Myllykoski is cutting 89 jobs at its Finnish subsidiary Myllykoski Paper in Kouvola at the end of the month. The company says the action affects both blue- and white-collar workers. Up to 50 other jobs could follow in the next few weeks or months. Some of these jobs are to be outsourced, but the corresponding negotiations with workers' representatives and external companies, which could take over some of the non-production relevant business at the mill, are still underway.
