Manroland's strategic re-orientation makes progress

As part of Manroland AG's comprehensive re-structuring project, the company's management and works council agreed on a reconciliation of interests and a severance plan in view of cutting around 500 jobs at its German plants in Augsburg, Offenbach and Plauen by the end of 2012 and transferring another 300 employees to manroland Industrial Services, a new business unit that star-ted operating 1 January, 2011. The new business unit's range of services is said to include industrial consultancy and personnel services.
