Atlantic Packaging to reopen Whitby mill

Canadian company Atlantic Packaging plans to reopen its Whitby mill after a nearly two-year shutdown. According to the company, the former newsprint plant has been rebuild and will now produce lightweight recycled corrugated case material in order to meet the growing demand from retailers for sustainable packaging. The plant is scheduled to start up in March 2013.
