September brings no major price movement on the domestic recovered paper market in Germany

In September, prices on the German recovered paper market remain largely unchanged from the level of the previous month. Although a considerable increase in raw material costs would have given the paper factories a good argument in favour of raising their prices during the upcoming packaging paper negotiations, they mostly rejected merchants' attempts at hikes. However, there was some talk of occasional mark-ups of as much as €10/t. For example, demand from Polish customers was having an effect on the market in eastern Germany.
