Strikes at Saica's board mills in France come to an end

The strikes at Saica Pack's French board mills has come to an end. According to a spokesperson of the Filpac CGT trade union, production was restarted normally on 20 April. Employer and employee representatives have agreed on a pay rise, the spokesperson reported. Employees of Saica Pack went on a strike at all French board mills of the Spanish company on 5 April and halted production for two hours per day. 80% of staff reportedly took part in the strike action which was motivated by disagreement in the annual wage negotiations.
