Mitsubishi HiTec Paper to invest in Bielefeld and Flensburg

Mitsubishi HiTec Paper Europe is going to invest just under €5m in technical production equipment and the optimisation of energy processes. The company announced that €3.2m would be spent on the optimisation of the coating machines at its plant in Bielefeld in Germany. According to the company, the investment aims at enhancing quality and productivity as well as at increasing utilisation flexibility of its state-of-the art coating systems for several product ranges. The optimisation of energy processes is being achieved by spending a total of €1.6m on new cooling systems in Bielefeld and Flensburg. Mitsubishi HiTec Paper Europe has also taken on staff for its Sales and its Research & Development departments.
