More and more companies have come to stop issuing invoices printed on paper; rather, they send corresponding documents electronically. ARC Rynek i Opinia, a Polish market research institute, conducted a survey in May 2013 which revealed that the majority of Poland's consumers do not wish to receive invoices by e-mail. When asked whether they would accept electronic invoices instead of printed ones, 77% of the persons surveyed answered ,,no". They justified their attitude by referring to the fact that they were simply more familiar with paper invoices, had difficulty in handling computers or lacked internet access.The survey reveals that Polish consumers are traditionally-minded in certain areas," said a spokeswoman for ARC Rynek i Opinia.It may well be that Polish consumers prefer paper invoices as archiving seems easier because they simply know how to do it."
