Groups representing the waste management industry, consumers of secondary raw materials and environmental interests were generally positive in their reactions to the circular environment package tabled by the European Commission last week, but nearly all identified areas where they still hope to see tighter restrictions or more aggressive targets adopted in EU waste and resource policy.
