Sonoco renames Weidenhammer plants

US packaging group Sonoco is renaming all of the plants that were previously owned by Weidenhammer. With effect from 1 January 2016, they will be doing business under the new name of Sonoco Consumer Products Europe.This measure is to support integration following the merger at the end of 2014. Sonoco said that the renaming is regarded as the last step towards full integration after the takeover.
