Allimand founds subsidiary in China

Allimand has founded a subsidiary in China in order to meet the growing needs of the Chinese market. The French paper machine engineering company said the subsidiary Allimand Shanghai will be handling the business in China with immediate effect. China accounts for 30-60% of its total sales revenue and the growing need for service in the market is to be fulfilled by a team on location. Allimand Shanghai is strategically located in Jiax-ing in the province of Zhejiang where a number of manufacturers of paper with higher added value are based. Allimand says it generates roughly 80% of its sales revenue outside France. More than 20 of its complete paper machines are already running in China in addition to numerous rebuilds.
