Pulp consumption considerably up in Europe in March

European paper mills considerably increased their pulp consumption in March.The latest Utipulp statistics show growth of 78,0001 above the previous month to 979,0001 (Feb. 2015:901,0001). 54,000 t of this increase was accounted for by hardwood pulp to 608,0001 (554,0001) and 25,0001 by softwood pulp to 345,0001 (320,0001). In March 2014, European converters utilised 1.002 million t, thus using 23,0001 more than in March 2015.
