摘要

The German Federation for Food Law and Food Science (BLL) demands that newspaper publishers shift their production to mineral oil-free printing inks in order to eliminate the main source of pollution from mineral oil mixtures such as MOSH and MOAH migrating into food. "All parties involved in the recycling process must cooperate in order to ensure a low level of residues in the long term in materials that are not used as food packaging but as storage and transportation cartons. These still present a contamination risk for food produced with the highest care," said Christoph Minhoff, BLL chief executive. It was therefore not only the food industry that was responsible, he added; finally, newspaper publishers now also had to be mindful of their responsibility to society and act accordingly.
