Saica investing in French Laval mill

Spanish company Industrias Celulosa Aragonesa S.A. (Saica) will be investing €8m in extending the corrugated board plant in Laval in France.This was confirmed by a company spokesman in reply to an enquiry by EUWID. The existing factory space in Laval is to be extended by 1,600 m~2 in order to provide enough room for the installation of a second corrugator with a width of 2.8 m. The existing machine has a width of 2.5 m. According to reports in the French press, Saica's Laval facility generates annual sales revenue of €35m with 125 employees.
