Van Gansewinkel sells French business division to Paprec

Dutch waste group Van Gansewinkel has withdrawn from yet another market. Following the course of subsidiaries in Poland and the Czech Republic, the group has now sold its waste collection and management activities in France. The purchaser is the recycling and waste services company Paprec, which announced the deal on 7 January. The sale is part of Van Gansewinkel's strategy to focus on strengthening its leading market position in the Benelux region, reported Paprec. No details on the purchase price were disclosed by either company.
