Koehler invests in specialty paper machine to enter the flexible packaging paper segment

Germany's Papierfabrik August Koehler plans to enter the flexible packaging paper market. To this end, the company will invest more than €300m in its mill in Kehl near the French border. The investment is expected to generate more than 100 new jobs in the next two years. The project is part of a larger investment programme. By 2020, the company plans to invest around €500m for the growth of the group. Further details on other projects are yet to be announced.
