UPM says there is progress in talks with Uruguay on pulp mill

"Good progress" has been made in UPM's negotiations with Uruguay's government on infrastructure development and other local prerequisites for long-term industrial growth, said the Finnish company in a press release. Agreement has apparently been reached for the majority of the contentious issues, said UPM. A number of remaining points still need to be dealt with as work gets underway on the contract language which will specify the mutual responsibilities.
