Metsä starts up extrusion plant at Husum mill

Metsa Board has put its new extrusion coating plant into operation at the Husum mill. The coating line has a capacity of 100,000 tpy and a working width of 3.4 m. According to earlier information from Metsä Board, the cost of the investment amounts to €38m. The coating plant would serve the global market forfood service packaging and was currently processing the first orders, Metsä Board explained.
