Paper Excellence wins legal battle to become sole owner of Eldorado

Paper Excellence has come out on top in a legal case that it brought against the holding firm J&F Investimentos about the complete acquisition of Brazilian pulp manufacturer Eldorado Brasil Ce-lulose. Paper Excellence reported that the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) arbitration court had ruled in its favour, clearing the way for it to move ahead with acquiring all other shares in Eldorado. Paper Excellence has held a 49.4 per cent stake in the Brazilian pulp manufacturer since 2017.The acquisition will now be completed under the terms of the agreement between Paper Excellence and J&F Investimentos that was entered into in 2017.
