Specialty paper manufacturer Cordier sells Technical Papers division to Dynos Group

Cordier Spezialpapier has found an investor for its Technical Paper division. The company sold the two German mills - Papierfabrik Cordier and Illigsche Papierfabrik, both in the south west of Germany - to Dynos Group in an asset deal, Uwe Stief, the managing director of Cordier Spezialpapier GmbH, told EUWID.Cordier Spezialpapier started self-administered insolvency proceedings at the beginning of 2020 and has since been searching for investors. The Technical Papers division was sold at the end of August, with all 113 staff working at the two sites reportedly retained. The Cordier mill in Bad Durk-heim makes technical pulp, which is converted to technical speciality paper at the Illigsche Papierfabrik, which is located near Frankfurt/Main.
