Vajda Papir starts up new tissue machine in Hungary

Hungary's tissue paper and products manufacturer Vajda Papir officially inaugurated its new integrated production and converting facility in Dunafoldvar at the beginning of November. The facility is located roughly 100 km south of Budapest and will create 100 new jobs.Vajda Papir has invested HUF11 bn in the project, which is roughly equivalent to €34m at the current exchange rate. The project received a non-refundable subsidy to the tune of HUF4.5bn (€14m) from the Hungarian government.
