Nine Dragons buys DIP manufacturer, builds new containerboard mill in Malaysia

Chinese pulp and paper giant Nine Dragons is expanding its packaging paper activities to Malaysia. In its annual report, the company announced it would grow its pulp and containerboard manufacturing in the Southeast Asian country. The new 550,000 tpy containerboard mill in Malaysia is scheduled for start-up in 2021, the company wrote.
