Voith Group intends to acquire BTG

On 18 September, Germany's technology supplier Voith signed an agreement with Spectris to acquire BTG for a total price of €319m. BTG, a multinational provider of integrated, specialised process solutions for the pulp and paper industries, forms part of the Spectris Industrial Solutions division.The transaction is expected to close at the end of the fourth quarter of 2019 and is subject to regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions.
