Lagardere to sell French magazine business to Czech Media Invest

French media group Lagardere will sell most of its French magazine business to the Prague-based media company Czech Media Invest. The sale will cover fashion magazine Elle along with its various extensions and its French online offering, as well as several other titles. Exclusive negotiations are reportedly underway. The proceeds from the sale will flow into Lagardere's book publishing business, amongst others.
