Industry newcomer Transcend Packaging to supply paper straws to McDonald's in the UK and Ireland

The recently established British packaging firm Transcend Packaging will be supplying paper drinking straws to McDonald's in the UK and Ireland. The paper-based alternatives will be introduced in the company's fast-food restaurant chain across the UK and Ireland in September of this year, it was announced.
