FEAD and EURIC call for recycled content targets

EURIC and FEAD, the two European associations representing the interests of the recycling and waste management industries, demand binding targets for the usage of recycled material in plastics production. In a joint position paper on the EU Commission's recommendation regarding single-use plastics, the federations regret that Brussels views extended producer responsibility (EPR) as one of the most important instruments to solve problems concerning single-use plastics.
